Reliable performance: The G2C has a striker-fired action and a double-action trigger that provides a smooth and consistent pull. It also has a manual safety that can be engaged or disengaged with ease.

The Taurus G2C is a great gun that offers reliable performance at an affordable price. It is perfect for those who are just getting into shooting or for those who want a backup firearm that they can rely on. It provides reliable performance at a price that won't break the bank, it is easy to handle, has a high-capacity magazine and is easy to maintain.
If you are in the market for a reliable and affordable firearm, the Taurus G2C is definitely worth checking out.
This Taurus G2C is a striker fired pistol so it's trigger pull feels more like a Glocks trigger pull than the long double action trigger pull of some of the Ruger pistol designs. Thank you for the question!

Have one for home defense, another for casual plinking at the range. They never fail to exceed expectations regarding accuracy with 115 grain USA FMJ ammo.

Shot about 600 rounds so far out of my G2C, including steel-cased ammo. Maintained according to facto specs. It's accurate, dependable, and safe (manual safety, loaded chamber indicator, concealed carry trigger pressure). Fits great in my hand. Yeah, I would say it the best 9mm subcompact for the price.

Bought a G2C rather than a G3C for the accurate fully adjustable rear sight. Tried G2C and G3C triggers at Green Top and they are virtually the same. Yes, G2C shoots all kinds of ammo reliably and accurately, from Russian steel case to 9 mm USA match. Have shot 1.5 inch groups consistently at 25 yards with USA 9 mm match ammo.

BEST sub-compact 9mm for concealed carry and home defense BY FAR for for the money. Has an adjustable windage / elevation rear sight. Tactile and visual chamber indicator when round''s in the chamber. Has a easy on-off manual safety and I will only purchase pistols with manual safeties because there are too many issues about ADs when clearing a holster and firing a pistols with no manual safety. G2C is a SAFE and accurate pistol ! Have also owned and loved a Taurus PT99AF for may years. GO TAURUS !!

Great Subcompact 9 MM Pistol !!
Overall
100%
I own a G2C for concealed carry and have another stashed at home for home defense. I have NEVER had a failure to feed / eject malfunction firing a G2C USING FACTORY AMMO AND FACTORY (Taurus) MAGAZINES. I do, however, religiously clean and lubricate all my firearms to manufacturers' specs. Your should too. Also, I will not carry any pistol that doesn't have a manual safety, and the G2C has one. Also has a tactile loaded chamber indicator and screw-adjustable rear sight for windage and elevation, which the G3C does not have. Best 9mm compact (12+1 rounds) for the price, of any under $500, and I test-fired most of them. Go G2C !!

Great for Safe Concealed Carry
Overall
100%
I read the on-line warnings about concealed carry pistols un-holstered without manual safeties. Made mine a G2C with an easy on-off manual safety and tactile loaded chamber indicator. G2C also does not have a "target trigger" last thing I want in a concealed carry pistol. G2C trigger does just fine, as is, for concealed carry.

We are increasingly afraid of Carjackers in our formerly suburban area so both my significant other and I carry G2Cs concealed (and licensed). We both love G2Cs. Ergonomic, concealable, adjustable rear sights, manual safety, 12+1 capacity, and accurate. The manual safety on the G2C is very important for us.

Have fired maybe 2,000 rounds through my year-old G2C and with adequate cleaning and maintenance it still holds 1 1/2 inch groups at 25 yards. No problemas whatsoever. Yes, it's the best striker-fire 9mm subcompact out there for the money. Looking for Taurus to do a G2C upgrade with minor mods like Taurus did for the original PT 99.

Except for the trigger the G2C is far superior to the G3C, which is a cheaper version of the G2C. So, have a Gunsmith install the G3C trigger on a G2C ? What the h*ll has Taurus done to the G2C to mes this fine pistiol up? Patriots - Buy a G2C now and have it modded to your needs.

Why Didn't Taurus Just install a Better Trigger on the G2C ?

Buy this pistol before it's discontinued by Taurus....Adjustable rear sight on G2C is great...so is the tactile chamber loaded indicator. G2C trigger isn't bad...take your G2C to a gunsmith for a better aftermarket trigger if you need / want one.

G2C vs. G3C
Overall

Buy the G2C while it's available new. Has an adjustable rear sight which the G3C does not. Also has a tactile loaded chamber indicator which the G3C does not. If you want a better trigger spend a few dollars for a better aftermarket trigger and have a gunsmith install. You will not be disappointed.
