Shipping Information

This page includes information specific to orders that are shipping out. Click here if you would like to read about our in-store pickup service.

All orders placed online for delivery will have the shipping charges calculated at checkout. The total shipping charges are based on a combination of weight, destination, and service type.

It is our goal to ship your order fast and accurately, which is why every order placed on our website before 2 PM ET Monday-Friday, excluding those that contain a firearm, ships the same day.

Firearms are required to ship directly to a Federal Firearms Licensed dealer. For firearm orders that are shipping to a receiving FFL dealer, we are required by law to have an up-to-date copy of their license on file before shipping any regulated items. Our firearms shipping team will contact the receiving dealer selected at checkout to obtain their license. Once we receive the license we will process and ship the order via UPS. Note: All handguns are required to ship either UPS 2nd Day Air or UPS Next Day Air.

COVID-19

Effective March 26, 2020 UPS suspended its delivery guarantee, which means Green Top is unable to guarantee that any package will be delivered on the exact date and time listed at checkout or presented by a Green Top associate. For more information, read more about the UPS Service Guarantee here.

Free Shipping

Orders with a subtotal equal to or greater than $50 and a total weight less than 50lbs qualify for free shipping. Some restrictions apply - read below for details on restrictions.

If the order subtotal is less than $100 the order will qualify for free Economy shipping. Some restrictions apply, read below for details.
If the order subtotal is equal to or greater than $100 the order will qualify for free UPS Ground shipping. Some restrictions apply, read below for details.

All firearms qualify for free shipping

Long guns qualify for free Ground shipping only.
Hand guns qualify for free 2nd Day Air shipping only.

Free Shipping Details and Restricitons:

Free shipping only applies to Economy or UPS Ground services - express service methods are not eligible for free shipping.
Ammunition does not qualify for free economy shipping because all ammo must ship UPS Ground.
Items under $100 that are marked as "Online Only" ship from an off-site warehouse and only qualify for free ship-to-store shipping. These items must be picked up in person from our retail store location otherwise regular shipping charges apply.
Items equal to or greater than $100 that are marked as "Online Only" qualify for free ship-to-store and ground shipping as long as other restrictions do not apply.
Oversize shipping charges are applied for certain items where necessary.

Economy Shipping

Economy shipping offers a lower-cost alternative to UPS Ground or other express services. Economy shipping is only available for orders with a subtotal less than $100 and a total weight less than 50lbs. If the subtotal is less than $50 a discounted shipping rate will apply to the order. If the subtotal is equal to or greater than $50, Economy shipping is available for free. Certain items do not qualify for economy shipping. All restrictions can be read in the Free Shipping section above.

Economy shipping orders are processed by Green Top at the same pace as all other orders however the shipping method will be determined at the time of shipment. Applicable shipping methods for these orders include UPS Surepost and select services offered by the USPS. Green Top reserves the right to choose which shipping method will be used at the time of shipment.

UPS

All orders placed online are eligible to be shipped via UPS. Our discounted rates are passed along to you at checkout to keep costs as low as possible. UPS services available include:

UPS 2nd Day Air
UPS Next Day Air
UPS SurePost

Certain items are not eligible for all UPS services. All eligible services will be displayed at checkout with the total shipping costs calculated based on a combination of weight, destination, and service type.

Bulk Orders

Green Top reserves the right to deny any bulk order or adjust the shipping cost according to the weight, destination, and shipping method. If shipping cost adjustments are required, a Green Top associate will contact you via email or phone for approval of the adjusted amount.

UPS Ground
(1 - 6 Business Days)
In-stock merchandise shipped from Green Top will typically arrive 1 - 6 business days after an order is received.

UPS 2nd Day Air
(2 Business Days)
In-stock merchandise shipped from Green Top will typically arrive 2 business days after an order is received.

UPS Next Day Air
(1 Business Day)
In-stock merchandise shipped from Green Top will typically arrive 1 business day after an order is received.

In-Store Pickup
(2-3 Hours)
In-store pickup orders will typically be ready within 2-3 hours. Once you receive an email stating that your order is ready you are required to pick up your order within 5 days. After 5 days we will attempt to contact you. If we are unsuccessful your order will be canceled and refunded.

Curbside Pick Up
(2-3 Hours)
With Green Top To Go you can pick up your non-firearm order without leaving your vehicle. You are required to pick up your order within 5 days from the date it was marked as "Awaiting Pickup". After 5 days we will attempt to contact you. If we are unsuccessful your order will be canceled and refunded.

Ship-to-Store
(5-10 Business Day)
Ship-to-Store orders will typically arrive 5 - 10 business day after an order is received. Once you receive an email stating that your order is ready you are required to pickup your order within 5 days. After 5 days we will attempt to contact you. If we are unsuccessful your order will be canceled and refunded.
