Description

The Winchester XPR Extreme Hunter is the extreme performance rifle for today's hunter. Advances in ammunition, rifles, and clothing mean that today's hunter can hunt in conditions that were impractical 50 years ago. The XPR rifle series take over 100 years of bolt action rifle design knowledge and uses it to produce the rifle of the new century. Using modern materials and machining techniques, the XPR is an exceptional rifle and an extremely affordable price. The composite stock is weather resistant which means it retains its structure regardless of temperature or moisture. The Inflex 1 recoil pad redirects recoil impulses away from the shooters face. The free-floated barrel never makes contact with a warped stock. A deeply crowned muzzle also protects the rifling from damage while a Tungsten Cerakote finish protects the barrel from the elements. The muzzle is threaded at 9/16-24 TPI with a muzzle brake. Winchester developed the M.O.A. Trigger System for the Model 70 and the XPR rifle, producing a trigger that is lighter, crisper, and more consistent than ever on a production rifle. With a 3-round capacity, the single-stack magazine reliably feeds ammunition into the chamber. Modern materials and technology make the XPR the affordable rifle for the new century.
