Sig Sauer's P229 Elite Compact pistol is a proud member of the P229 family that has been trusted by law enforcement and civilians for nearly 30 years. This double/single action pistol features Sig's highly rated SRT (short reset trigger) that shooters love. It has very little creep, a clean crisp break, and (as the name suggests) a very short but positive reset. Ergonomic one piece E2 grips will make the P229 Elite feel right at home in your hands. An extended beavertail frame and checkering on the front strap make this pistol sit tight in your hands and give you a comfortable hold. An alloy frame gives this pistol enough weight to give a nice reduction in recoil compared to polymer frames, but keeps it light enough so that it's not a hassle to carry. SIGLITE night sights help you use your sights in low light, and an accessory rail allows you to attach a light if you prefer to turn the dark into light. Hardcoat anodized frame finish and Nitron slide finish make the P229 Elite ready to stand up to harsh weather conditions.
