Josh brings an extensive background to the Fishing Department, and is a great addition to the fly fishing enthusiasts on the team.
He was first introduced to fishing by a family friend, and grew up spending summers on the Rappahannock River. While Josh’s favorite fishing spot is the Chesapeake Bay, he has caught false albacore in North Carolina, and bonefish and barracuda in the Bahamas. Josh prefers fishing for striper, but also enjoys freshwater fishing for smallmouth bass. He holds several citations for both speckled trout and striped bass.
A great deal of Josh’s spare time is devoted to fly fishing or tying flies. His interest in the outdoors does not stop at fishing, though. He also enjoys camping, hiking, backpacking and kayaking.
