The Daiwa D-Wave Saltwater Spinning Combo With Fiberglass Rod performs outstandingly in both saltwater and heavy freshwater applications. The rod and reel were built to withstand tough situations. The rods are constructed from durable fiberglass blanks for strength and sensitivity and feature corrosion-resistant aluminum oxide guides and EVA foam grip handles. The reel features a durable graphite body and ABS aluminum spools. The D-Wave reel also features Digigear technology, 2 stainless ball bearings, and Twist Buster II line roller and a Gyro spin balanced rotor to provide optimal smoothness.
