The Daiwa Certate LT Spin Reel redefines saltwater angling excellence with outstanding rigidity and corrosion resistance. The Certate LT was built upon the Light and Tough (LT) concept that decreases overall weight by 15% to provide a smaller, leaner build that is still performance tough. This reel is also encased in a one-piece lightweight aluminum Monocoque (MQ) body that maximizes gear strength and offers more stability due to the distortion-proof frame. Magsealed technology covers the main shaft and line roller which increases performance and overall smoothness of each function by sealing out the elements. Powered by 10 corrosion-resistant ball bearings, the Certate runs smoothly even in rough conditions. The Air Rotor and Air Bail are constructed from Zaion carbon material that weights up to 15% less than standard rotors. The Air Bail works with construction line that slides easily along the Air Bail towards the line roller for problem-free line control. Meanwhile, the ABS Long Cast spool increases flight distance by up to 5% due to its lightweight and unique shape. The Certate LT Spin Reel also features Digigear technology that optimizes speed, power, and durability as well as Automatic Tournament Drag that produces smoother drag from the initial hook up. Both work to maximize efficiency with better transfer of energy while instant anti-reverse optimizes engagement.
