There are some shotguns that you may think are just "too nice" to take into the field. The Browning Citori Hunter makes it so you don't have to choose between beauty and usability. The Citori Hunter is crafted with the same high level of reliability and handling as the "nice" guns while being dressed for the field. This gun is a finely crafted tool that is designed to put game on the table. The 28" vent ribbed barrels have 2-3/4" chrome lined chambers to enhance performance and resist corrosion. Flush-mount Standard Invector chokes, and 50/50 point of impact, improves shot patterns and provides a consistent point of impact when hunting. A tang safety and barrel selector allows you to choose which barrel to shoot first. Inertia from the recoil of firing the first shot sets the hammer for the second shot. The auto-ejectors are set by the sharp hammer blow when firing. Expended shells are ejected while unfired shells are elevated for easy removal. Grade I American Walnut, with 18 LPI checkering is masterfully mated to the polished blued receiver for an elegant and clean look. An Inflex 2 recoil pad, which uses directional deflection to send the comb down and away from the face to reduce felt recoil and increase shooting comfort, completes and compliments the stock. Durable, reliable and affordable, the Browning Citori Hunter is the perfect choice for the field with the craftsmanship and legacy of a Browning.
