The simplicity and reliability of a Browning Pump Shotgun can't be beat and the BPS Field Composite is a workhorse that you can count on. You get the all weather durability with a black synthetic composite stock and blued vent rib barrel that you expect from Browning. Handling has been improved with an ergonomic stock design to give you a faster more natural feel. Quick to the shoulder, you'll immediately notice the fast well balanced swing of the modern BPS. The real advantage comes from the floating rib barrel. A floating rib is the key to constancy by allowing the rib and barrel to expand at different rates as the barrel heats up. This keeps you on target without any point of impact shift from barrel heating, and the rib is the perfect height to give you an unobstructed view of your target. The BPS is capable of shooting any load including steel shot reliably and without negative impact on your barrel life. Recognized for the smooth, reliable bottom ejecting action, the BPS is ideal for hunters seeking a shotgun that simply won't let them down. This is a fully ambidextrous pump action that is perfect for both left handed and right handed shooters. With a forged/machined steel receiver, an enlarged trigger guard for gloved hands and machined dual action bars you get rock solid performance shot after shot.
