The Easy Mag II braking system is a magnetic cast control that allows for a true freespool setting. With Easy Mag II, the spool controlling magnets rotate to face each other, cancelling themselves so they apply zero force on the spool. Angler can continue to turn down the magnetic control to provide better freespool and more casting distance.
